About Asharaye

“Ashara” is an Amharic word which is also known as “DUKA”, which means leaving your “Footprint” behind, (Ashara can also be referred to as “Fingerprint”).

Life is full of journeys.  In each path that we explore, all of us leave our distinctive footprints.  The greatest impression, the one that lasts, is the positive impact that we have on others. The quality of our life depends on the number of lives we touch.

Every soul came into this world with a purpose.  As Robert F. Kennedy said, “The purpose of life is to contribute in some way to make things better.”  Our contribution to the betterment of all and to the entire living world around us, is the authentic footprints that define the unique fulfillment of our mission here.  These indelible and joyful marks on this Earth will last beyond their initial impression and will not fade away easily.  I choose writing as a means to leave my footprint, and this platform is my path. This website aims to spread unifying words, uplifting messages, and motivating stories, and the poetry adds a little bit of beauty by celebrating positive qualities and aesthetic expression.

 My mission is to help myself and others tap into our fullest potential in order to live our lives in solemn and joyous fulfillment of our intended purposes here on Earth.  Every change we want to see in the world starts within us.  As my favorite poet Rumi advises:

“Yesterday I was clever
I wanted to change the world
Today I am wise
and I am changing myself”

I am here to change, grow, and evolve into my truest self, and it inspires me to know that there are so many others  who are on the same path toward transformation and fulfillment.  Therefore, I believe this will be our platform to share ideas.

Many of us stay stuck and wind up wasting so much time trying to change the outside, when the only change needed resides within us.  Personal development coincides with the lifelong processes of inner work.  It is something we can start at any age and at anytime, and the only thing it requires is a commitment to discovering the possibilities in the natural world and people all around.  While striving to help others, we simultaneously move closer toward self-actualization, and then our artistic masterpiece emerges for all to share.

አሻራዬ የሚለውን ስም የመረጥኩበት የራሴ የሆነ ምክንያት አለኝ። የሰው ልጅ በዚህ ምድር ላይ ሲኖር፤ የኑሮ ጉዞውን በተመለከተ ሁለት ምርጫዎች አሉት። አንደኛው ሌሎች የደቀደቁትን መንገድ ተከትሎ መኖር ሲሆን ሁለተኛው ደግሞ የራሱን ጎዳና ቀይሶ ልዩ አሻራውን መተው። አሻራ መተው ማለት የተሰጠንን መክሊት መኖር ማለት ነው። ያለ ምክንያት የተፈጠረ ሰው፤ ያለ መክሊት ወደዚህ ምድር የመጣ ሰው የለም። የእኛ የኑሮ ሀላፊነት ይህንን መክሊታችንን ፈልገን ማግኘት እና መኖር ነው። አንድ ሰው ተሰጥዎውን አውቆ ፤ ማንነቱን አግኝቶ ከኖረ በየትኛውም መስክ ቢሰማራ የራሱን አሻራ መተው አይቀርም።

ትልቁ አሻራ ግን እያንዳንዳችን በሌሎች ላይ የምናሳድረው መልካም ተጽዕኖ ነው። በቀላሉ የማይደበዝዘው አሻራ እኛ ለሌሎች የምናደርገው መልካም ምግባር ነው። ለዚህም ነው  አሻራዬ የሚለውን ስም ለዚህ ደረገጽ የመረጥኩት። እራሴን ለመለወጥ ስነሳ ሌሎችንም አብሬ ለማነቃቃት በማሰብ! እኔ በጽሁፍ አሻራዬን ለመተው ስመኝ፤ ይህንን ድረገጽ እንደ ጎዳና በመቁጠር ነው።

የዚህ ድረ-ገጽ አላማ መልካም ሃሳቦችን፤ አነቃቂ ጽሁፎችን ማስተላለፍ ነው። ሁላችንንም ከሚያለያዩን ውጫዊ ነገሮች በላይ፤ የሚያመሳስሉን ውስጣዊ ነገሮች ይበዛሉ ብዬ አምናለሁ። የአብዛኛዎቻችን ምኞት ፍቅርን፤ ውስጣዊ ሰላምን፤ እርክታን እና ተስፋን ከልባችን አለማጣት ነው። ስለዚህ በሚያመሳስሉን ሃሳቦች፣ ምኞቶችና ሰዋዊ ፈተናዎች ላይ እንድንወያይ ይህ መድረክ ይረዳናል ብዬ ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ። አንዳንዴም ደግሞ፤ የሃሳባችንን ውበት በግጥም አሰማምረን እንድናቀርብ፤ የግጥምም ገጽ ተዘጋጅቷል።

ከምንም በላይ ግን ምኞቴና አላማዬ እራሴና እኔን መሰሎችን አመለካከትን በመለወጥ ከህይወት ጋር ያለንን ግንኙነት መቀየር እንደሚቻል ማስታወስ ነው። ከዚህች አጭር ኑሮ የቻልነውን ያህል አጣጥመን ለመኖር እራሳችን ላይ መስራቱ ወሳኝ ነውና። በዙሪያችን እንዲለወጡ የምንመኛቸው ነገሮች በሙሉ በቅድሚያ መለወጥ ያለባቸው ከውስጣችን ነው። የምወደው የፐርሺያ ገጣሚ ሩሚ እንዲህ የሚል ስንኝ ቋጥሮ ትቶልናል

ትላንት ጎበዝ ነበሩ አለምን ቀያሪ

ዛሬ ብልህ ሰው ነኝ እራሴ መካሪ

እኔ ለማደግ፤ ለመማር፤ ለመሻሻል የምመኝ አንዲት ተራ ኢትዮጵያዊ ነኝ። ሆኖም ግን ብርታት የሚሰጠኝ ነገር ቢኖር፣ ሌሎች ብዙ ሰዎች በተመሳሳይ ጎዳና ላይ መሆናቸውን ማሰብ ነው። ለዚህ ነው አብረን እንድንጓዝ የምጠይቀው። ብዙዎቻችን ውጫዊውን አለም ለመለወጥ በመታገል ብዙ ጊዜን እናጠፋለን። አንድ የረሳነው ጥበብ ግን፤ የሁሉም ነገር ለውጥና መፍትሄ በውስጣችን መሆኑን ነው። እራስን መለወጥ የማያልቅ የህይወት ስራ ነው። ደግነቱ በየትኛውም እድሜ፤ በየትኛውም ጊዜ፤ በማንኛውም እውቀት፤ በየትኛውም ቦታ መጀመር ይቻላል። ብቸኛው የሚያስፈልገን ነገር ቢኖር ቁርጠኝነት ብቻ ነው!!! ሌሎችን በመርዳት ደግሞ፤ የእርሳችንን ለውጥ ማፋጠን እንችላለን።
